Matterport Cloud
A scanner without the cloud is like a smartphone without apps. The Matterport platform ("Showcase") is your central command center. Here you edit, measure, and share the digital twin. But be careful when choosing your subscription:
Viewing vs. Working: Entry-level plans (Free/Starter) are purely for viewing. Anyone who wants to work with the data (BIM, CAD, E57) absolutely needs the Professional status.
The "Pro3 Law": LiDAR data from the Pro3 or Leica BLK360 requires computationally intensive processing. It is not compatible with starter plans.
